Three persons have been killed in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in Shreerampur area of Dhamrai on Monday morning.
Ten other people were also injured in the accident.
The deceased were identified as Bishwajit, 40, Sirajul Islam, 30, and Kawsar, 25.
Dhamrai police station Officer-in-Charge Feroz Talukdar confirmed the Dhaka Tribune about the deaths.
He said: "A Dhaka-bound bus collided head-on with a Manikganj-bound truck on Dhaka-Aricha highway around 8:30am, leaving two dead on the spot and 11 others injured."
Of the injured, one succumbed to his injuries on way to Manikganj sadar hospital, said the OC.
Police recovered the bodies and sent those to Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy.
