A fire has broken out at Boro Koborsthan area of Rahattarpool in Chittagong on Saturday night, July 19.
Fire originated at the slum around 8:30pm, Deputy Assistant Director Jasimuddin of fire service and civil defence headquarter of Chittagong told the Dhaka Tribune.
Three units of fire service were working to douse the fire, he added.
However, the fire service official could not ascertain the cause of the fire, the estimate of economic and other losses immediately.
