Mutual Trust Bank yesterday launched an award at its corporate head office in capital’s Gulshan area.
MTB Bravery Award, is an award aimed at honouring those people who have shown great courage to save the lives of others.
The award aims to honour those who put their own lives at risk to protect humanity.
At the ceremony, Anis A Khan, managing director and CEO of the bank, handed over a cheque of Tk2 lakh, a certificate and a plaque to the widow of Liakot Ali who lost his life while trying to save a lady from miscreants in capital’s Uttara area on July 3.
MTB will bear all educational expenses of two sons of the deceased up to HSC level.
