“Being father is a whole new experience for me. I cannot express the feeling in words,” said Apurbo, who also shared about his Eid ventures.

“Approximately 20 of my teleplays will be aired on different channels this Eid. While some of the characters are common, I have done some exciting work,” said Apurbo.

“One of the play is Babul Rashid Banna’s ‘My Life,’ where I enact the character of a doctor who is really obedient to his parents but at some point of his life he realises that he should have some say of his own,” said Apurbo, who loves challenging roles.

“Another very interesting character that I have played is of a very ambitious man who can do anything to achieve professional excellence in BU Shuvo’s ‘Shekor.’”

Besides, this Eid is also very special for Apurbo as he is debuting as a TV play director. Apurbo has written, directed and acted in the telefilm “Backdated”which will be aired on NTV  during Eid. “My experiences of working with good directors promped me to take up such a challange,” said Apurbo. “The film is about the conflict between modernity and old ways of life,” added the actor.

Apurbo further talked about his personal life and informed that besides plays and family, he was really occupied with the WC football matches.

The actor also shared his Eid plans saying: “I don’t go shopping that often, my wife generally takes care of that. But I have a few very selected shops in the city where I visit the night before Eid.”
