Communications Minister Obaidul Quader has asked concerned all to repair all roads and highways by July 20 for smooth vehicular movement during Eid.
The minister gave the direction after visiting the Dhaka-Chittagong highway at Mugrapara crossing of Sonargaon in Narayanganj on Saturday morning.
Quader warned that no excuse would be accepted in completing the repair works.
He said: "If anyone fails to do the work within the stipulated time he will be punished."
