While the film actors are busy working in special teleplays for the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr festival, Anisur Rahman Milon, who started his journey in the showbiz as a TV actor, is still busy with films. With a number of movies in the pipeline, this week he signed for a new film titled “Target,” directed by Saif Chandan. Here he will be seen opposite to newbie Ireen.
“Besides this project, I am working in Shah Alam Mandal’s ‘Bhalobasha Shimahin’ and Ananya Mamun’s ‘Friendship.’ My latest film “One Way” by Iftakar Chowdhury will hit the theatres anytime soon.”
Milon who is a popular actor in both the mediums will not deprive his fans this Eid. “I can’t exactly say how many of my teleplays will be aired this Eid, but the number wouldn’t be less than five,” he said.
“Still I have done a few good numbers this Eid. One such character is about a book worm in Al-Hajen’s single-episode play “Boi Pagol,” informs Milon, who further shared that the role is quite a unique one. “He is a man who does nothing but reads. He always gives quotes and logics from the books,” said Milon, who always looks for challenging roles.
“I always want to do roles that are not like what I am in real life. That means, the roles offer me to do something that has no similarity with my personality,” Milon said.
Besides acting, Milon, who is also a great fan of football, is a supporter of Germany and tries to watch World Cup matches by managing his tight schedules. “Unfortunately I don’t get much time to watch football matches despite trying not to miss one. However, on this World Cup, I have watched few matches on shooting spot with my crew members and those were really enjoyable experiences,” said Milon, who also shared about his Eid plans.
He said: “I try to be with my family on Eid days and we generally celebrate Eid in Dhaka.” He further added: “I don’t shop much and my wife generally does all the shopping for me. Still on the evening before Eid day I try to visit a few shopping centres and buy some gifts for my family.”
