A life term prisoner has died in Jessore Central Jail on Saturday morning, day after another inmate's death.
Yunus Ali, 57, a resident of Anandabash village under Mujibnagar upazila in Meherpur district, died at Jessore Medical College Hospital around 10:40am.
Mohiuddin Haider, jailer of Jessore Central Jail, confirmed the Dhaka Tribune about the death.
Yunus had been imprisoned at Jessore Central Jail since 2012, said the jailer.
Samiuzzaman Uzzal, 32, former joint secretary of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal Jessore district unit died in the jail on Friday.
