Ten workers have sustained burn injuries in a boiler explosion at yarn factory in Khagan area of Savar upazila on Saturday afternoon.
Witnesses said the boiler of the dying machine of Simtex Dying Industries exploded in the afternoon while the workers were dying yarns, leaving 10 people injured.
The injured have been admitted at different local hospitals. Of them, Manirul and Anwar were shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital as their condition deteriorated.
Director of Industrial Police Mostafijur Rahman confirmed the incident to the Dhaka Tribune.
