The fourth President Cup Fencing Championship has ended at the Shaheed Sohrawardi Indoor Stadium in Mirpur on Thursday.
The fencing tournament was inaugurated on Tuesday. Some 50 competitors from Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Ansar, Border Guards Bangladesh, Mirpur Commerce College, Mirpur Fencing Club and Die Hard, split into three groups, fought for the medals.
Among others, Bangladesh Fencing Association President Lt Gen (retd) Jahirul Alam, General Secretary Maj (retd) Quamrul Islam, Fencing Association Foreign Coach Rakesh and National Coach Asad, were present during the medal distributing ceremony.
