A three-day Entrepreneur Festival 2014 begins here tomorrow, aimed at assisting new entrepreneurs invest in a right manner.
The Chittagong chapter of Bangladesh Open Sources Network (BDOSN) – which runs a Facebook-based group “Chakri khujbo na chakri debo” – organized the festival for the second time, the organisers told a press conference at Chittagong Press Club yesterday.
Emran Harun, assistant convener of the organising committee of the festival, said around 30 stalls will be set up at MA Aziz Stadium Gymnasium in Chittagong city where the entrepreneurs will showcase their products and services.
Besides, workshops, seminars and discussion programmes will also be held over business communication, business networking, marketing, selling and financial management to grow knowledge and skill of new entrepreneurs.
They are arranging the festival for the new entrepreneurs to help them develop the business sector by investing in a right way, and to lessen the socio-financial crisis by engaging unemployed people in different productive works.
The festival will remain open for all from 10 am to 7 pm.
Arafatur Rahman, Sharmin Rabeya, Ali Haider Tanshir and Sajjadul Islam of the organisation were, among others, present at the press conference.
