2 killed in Cox's Bazar road crash

At least two people have been killed and 10 others injured as a speedy-driven passenger bus rammed into a microbus and at Khurulia area on Cox's Bazar- Chittagong highway on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased are Jafar Alam, 45, former chairman of Rashidnagar union and Nuruzzaman, 60 , son of late Tajul Mulluk of Ramu upazila.

Cox's Bazar Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge Mahfujur Rahman said: “A speedy-driven passenger bus rammed into a mircobus in Khurulia area around 3pm, leaving two microbus passengers dead on the spot and 10 others injured.”
