Three passengers of a pick-up van have been killed as a truck rammed into it in Hamkuria area on Dhaka-Sirajganj-Rajshahi highway on Monday morning.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Hatikumrul highway police station Officer-in-Charge Imdadul Hoque confirmed the Dhaka Tribune about the deaths.
“A Dhaka-bound mango-loaded truck rammed into the Natore-bound pick-up van in Hamkuria area around 7:30am, leaving three passengers of the van dead on the spot,” said the OC.
He said police recovered the bodies from the spot.
