Trader found dead at Rampura

A trader was found dead in capital’s Rampura area on Sunday night.

Bachchu Miah, 38, who was a trader at Polwel Market in capital’s Nayapaltam, was found dead on WAPDA Road in Rampura at around 10:30pm.

Sub-Inspector Hazrat Ali of Rampura police station said locals found the body of the man lying on the road and later police recovered the body. It was sent to the morgue at the Dhaka Medical College.

But the police officer could not ascertain the cause of the murder as well as about the killers.

However, Leena Begum, wife of the deceased trader, informed police that her husband might have been killed following a feud over a dealing with some people.

But she could not provide anything details of the killers.
