BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has demanded judicial investigation of Bihari Camp killing to unearth the mystery and to ensure exemplary punishment of the criminals by bringing them into book.
The former premier came up with the demand at a press release signed by party's joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.
She also alleged that the attack was launched jointly by the law enforcers and Awami League criminals.
Nine members of a Bihari [stranded Pakistani] family have been burnt alive following a clash between the Bangali and Bihari community people in Kalshi of the capital's Mirpur area on Saturday morning.
Another person, who received severe bullet injuries, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Khaleda alleged that the law enforcing agencies along with the ruling party criminals have not only been attacking the opposition leaders and activists but also attacked upon the common citizens.
"As the government's law enforcing agencies have been using as cadres of the ruling party, they became desperate,” she said.
“As an associate of the ruling party cadres the law enforcers have not only been attacking the opposition leaders and activists rather common people have been passing their days in fear and frightening situation.”
Khaleda said: "Any sort of criminal activities are against of humanity. These criminals are the enemy of the people."
The BNP chief vowed to continue the movement against all sorts of criminal activities including state sponsored criminal activities.
