An employee of a NGO has been killed and two others injured as a speedy truck knocked down their motorcycle on Feni-Maijdi road in Jaylashkar area of Feni district on Thursday morning.
The deceased is Sijan Chakma, 35, employee of the Noakhali branch of ASA. He hailed from Rangamati.
Dagonbhuiyan police station Officer-in-Charge Nizam Uddin said: “A buffalo-laden truck knocked down their motorcycle while Sujan was going to his workplace, killing him on spot and injuring the two other riders of the bike. The truck also turned upside down.”
The injured passengers have been admitted to Feni Sadar Hospital in critical condition, said the OC.
