At least four people have been killed and 21 others injured as a passenger bus fell in a roadside ditch near Meherpur Government College on Thursday morning.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Meherpur police station Officer-in-Charge Sheikh Atiar rahman said: “The driver of the Meherpur-bound bus from Kushtia lost his control over the steering and the bus fell in a roadside ditch, leaving four people dead on the spot and 21 others injured.”
