Two people have been killed in separate road accidents in Kalihati upazila and Tangail sadar upazila of the district on Tuesday.
Identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
In Kalihati upazila, a man fell from the roof of a moving passenger bus at Hatia area and died on the spot as another bus ran him over at 2pm, said Akheruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Bangabandhu Bridge East police station.
In another incident, an unidentified youth, aged about 16, was crashed under the wheels of a train in Gharinda area under Tangail Sadar upazila.
Zalal Uddin station master of Tangail railway station said the youth got crushed under the wheels of Dhaka-bound Silkcity express near the station.
