Bangladeshi dies in UAE dockyard accident

A Bangladeshi national has been killed in an accident at Khalid Port dockyard of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates.

The deceased was identified as Iqbal Shaikh, 30.

The accident took place while Iqbal was cleaning ships in the docking area on Monday.

Police said Iqbal opened a water hose which had very powerful pressure to clean the place after the departure of the ship, the Gulf Today reports.

He received injuries in his head, causing him to bleed to death.

On information, police rushed to the site and found Iqbal dead.

Later, police moved the body to the forensic laboratory for investigation.
