A successful dentist, Naila Nayem figured out that flesh and commercialism go hand in hand. Several years ago, she was modelling for numerous brands but came into the limelight after her bold shoot wearing a two piece swim suit. She has recently signed as an “item girl” for Tonmoy Tansen’s upcoming film “Run Out” and the two days long shoot ended yesterday at the Coke Studio, Tejgaon.
The set was designed as a bar/nightclub, decorated with symbols of the spade of cards and dragons, presumably to add oriental flavour, went well with the song. The song “Mon Diye Mon Nitey Shobai Crazy,” demanded Naila in revealing attire and Dhaka Tribune found her in a sizzling red dress in the green room. But the atmosphere of the spot seemed edgy at the beginning as Naila refused to talk and she also declared to postpone the shooting. To find out the reason behind Naila’s sudden tantrum, Dhaka Tribune spoke to the director Tonmoy Tansen and he said: “Naila is very upset about the photo which has been published in the Bangla Tribune. The photo was inappropriate and vulgar. Naila got sentimental and is very disappointed.” Naila refused to speak with any reporters and she did not allow any photos of her to be taken during the shooting which eventually resumed an hour later.
However, when Naila reappeared, her supposed “disappointment” was nowhere in sight and she greeted her director, choreographer, Asad Khan, and fans with enthusiasm. With her raunchy moves and seductive expressions, she managed to erase all the negativity from the set and replaced it with positive sexual energy.
With no sign of tiring even after many takes, Naila’s determination and hardwork were well noticed by all.
Near the end of the sequence, “Run Out” actor Sajal joined the stage. Naila’s spectacular dance moves certainly overshadowed the hero’s average performance on-stage. Indeed, Sajal’s dancing was disappointing and gave the impression that while he might be ready for acting, he needs to train and improve his dancing skills.
“Much talked about” Naila Nayem’s sultry dance number will take Dhallywood by storm for sure and will work as a positive accessory for the film. At present, people are focused on her sensuality, but soon, viewers will seek her for her talent. Naila is in the right place at the right time. For her unconventional game plan, Naila gained many titles. She has the pose, the attitude, so stardom is hers by default.
