Mahtab Uddin, key accused in Ekramul Haq Ekram murder case, has been shifted to National Heart Foundation in the capital.
Shahidul Alam, jailor of Feni prison, has endorsed the information to the Dhaka Tribune on Monday.
“Mahtab has been rushed to Feni Sadar Hospital as he has been suffering from chest pain around 9pm on Monday night,” Alam said.
Later, he has been transferred to National Heart Foundation in Dhaka, he added.
Ashim Kumar Shaha, medical officer of Feni Sadar Hospital, has confirmed the heart disease to the Dhaka Tribune.
