Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who is now in China on a six-day official tour, reached Beijing after wrapping up her first leg visit to southern Chinese city of Kunming.
A flight of China Southern Airlines carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage members landed at Beijing International Airport around 2pm local time, reports BSS.
The prime minister has been taken to Diaoyutai State Guest House through a ceremonial motorcade following a warm welcome at the airport.
Liu Zhenmin, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of China, received Sheikh Hasina at the airport. Bangladesh Ambassador in Beijing Muhammad Azizul Haque was also present.
The premier will place wreaths at the Monument of the People's Heroes at Tiananmen Square in the afternoon.
Earlier, Sheikh Hasina departed Changshui International Airport, Kunming for Beijing around 10:30am.
Sheikh Hasina arrived in Kunming on June 6 as part of her six-day official visit to China at the invitation of her Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang.
