Speakers at a discussion opined that pulling one million families out of extreme poverty every year starting 2016 is needed if the government wants to achieve its goal.
The speakers yesterday made the remarks at a workshop organised by the Economic Empowerment of the Poorest in Bangladesh (EEP) project.
They stressed on reforming public and private services would help the poor to come out from the situation.
Shazia Omar, head of advocacy of the project, in a documentary presentation showed the present situation and the means to get rid of the problem by 2021, the deadline set by the government.
