Jonakir Alo hits both big and small screens today

Jonakir Alo, a film by director-artist Khalid Mahmud Mithu, is releasing today in three cinemas— Shyamoli Complex Cinema, Star Cineplex (Bashundhara City) and Blockbuster Cinemas( Jamuna Future Park) in Dhaka. The film will also have its world TV premiere today on Channel i at 3:05pm. A premiere show was organised on April 12 at Shyamoli Complex Cinema Hall with the presence of the cast and crew of the film.

About the nationwide distribution of the film, the director said that the film will gradually hit the cinemas across the country if they get positive response from the distributors and hall owners. 

Produced by Impress Telefilm, the big budget film features Imon, Bidya Sinha Saha Mim, Kalyan Corraya, Diti, Tarik Anam Khan, Mita Chowdhury, Masud Ali Khan, Anis, Shams Sumon,Putul, Gazi Rakayet, Mrinal Dutta and many others.

The plot develops with a triangular love story. Kobita dreams of working for children’s welfare and is torn between adopting a child and her responsibility as a daughter-in-law of a conservative family. Most interestingly, the protagonist meets the legendary artist SM Sultan and becomes inspired with his philosophy.

Gazi Rakayet has enacted the role of SM Sultan and Bidya Sinha Saha Mim is the lead female actor of the movie. Imon and Kalyan play the two love interests of the heroine.
