Armanitola Govt. High School, St. Joseph, Ahmed Bawani Academy School and College and Scholastica (Mirpur branch) reached the boy’s team semi-finals in the Walton Metropolis School Table Tennis at the Shahid Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium yesterday.
The girl’s team semi-finals saw Suede Ramna, Azimpur School and College, Prayash Dhaka Cantonment and Sunnydale completing the line up.
Meanwhile, Zunayed of Lalbagh Model School, Amit of Ahmed Bawani Academy, Akash of Armanitola reached the second round of the boy’s singles. Fatin Ishraq of Azimpur Girls, Nur-e-Ferdous of Sunnydale Tamanna Kabir of Summerfield and Fouzia of DPS cruised through to the girl’s singles second round. There will no matches today and the meet will resume tomorrow.
