Sushmita Sen will soon be seen in a Bangla film. A source told the Times of India: “The actress has signed a Bangla film that will be directed by Basu Chatterjee’s daughter, Rupali Guha. The rest of the cast is yet to be finalised but Sushmita has signed below the dotted line.”
The source adds that Sushmita is kicked about this project and she wants to co-produce the Bengali film. “She is also looking at getting the rights for its Hindi remake.”
She made her debut in Bollywood after winning the coveted title of Miss Universe, and now, after taking a sabbatical from acting for about 3 years, Sushmita Sen is all set to do her first film in her mother tongue Bengali.
The film, titled Jodi Emon Hoto (What If It Had Happened), talks about the equation between a man and a woman.
