The Walton Friendship Cycle Rally began at the number 5 sector of Salt Lake, Kolkata yesterday with a hope toextend the camaraderie between the two Bengals even further.
A total of 25 cyclists including 15 from Kolkata and 10 from Bangladesh are participating in the rally. The rally entered Benapole through Jessore yesterday and will stay at Narail today.
The rally was inaugurated by the additional director of Walton AFM Iqbal bin Anwar Dawn. Arun Ghosh, the managing director of Techno India Group, senior project manager Arindam Mukherjee, the president of Kolkata Football Lovers Association Torun Bhowmik and Mihir Das were also present on the occasion.
