Miscreants have shot an agent of bKash, a mobile banking service provider company, and snatched Tk10 lakh at Senpara in the capital on Tuesday afternoon.
Confirming the matter, Fazlul Hoque, sub-inspector of Dhaka Medical College Hospital police outpost, told the Dhaka Tribune that two persons shot Abul Kalam Azad, 26, distributor of bKash, and pedestrian Kabir Hossain, 22, in front of Brac Bank branch at Senpara of Mirpur.
Saifur Rahman, colleague of bKash agent Abul Kalam, said two persons riding on a motorcycle shot the duo and snatched Tk10 lakh.
The injured are now taking treatment at DMCH.
