Two unidentified dead bodies have been recovered from Gazipur City Corporation area.
The first dead body, with damaged nose and face, was found in Vogra area on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway around 11:45am on Sunday.
Vogra police camp Assistant Sub Inspector Shaheen Mia said the body was thrown from a Dhaka-bound ambulance. “Police recovered the body around 1pm.”
“The body had signs of being hit on the nose and the mouth apart from other different areas.”
The second body, around 40 years of age, was recovered from Klomeshwar area around 10am, Joydebpur police station SI Ekramul Haque said.
Both the bodies were sent to Gazipur Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
