Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has said sorry for the three Bangladeshi national’s killing in Khowai city of Tripura in India.
Birendra Bajpai, deputy commandant of BSF, expressed grief over the incident during a flag meeting between BGB and BSF on Sunday afternoon.
“The bodies are now under the custody of Tripura police after post-mortem. The bodies will be handed over to BGB on Monday,” said Birendra Bajpai.
He also assured BGB 14 Commanding Officer Lt Col Saif Uddin Kawsar that India will take legal action against the persons involved in the killing.
Bangladeshi nationals Siddique Ali, Anwar Ali and Sundar Ali of Gazipur union under Chunarughat upazila of Habiganj have been beaten to death in Tripura of India on early Sunday.
Habiganj Deputy Commissioner Zainal Abedin has confirmed the deaths to the Dhaka Tribune.
“They were beaten to death as they went to Khowai city to bring cows at around 3am,” Gazipur Union Parishad Chairman Tajul Isalm Mollah said.
