A five-member probe committee has been formed to investigate the bridge collapse at Kapasia in Gazipur that left four labourer dead on Thursday morning.
Kapasia UNO Alauddin Ali confirmed the Dhaka Tribune about the formation of the body.
Bangladesh government and the World Bank will provide aid to the victims of the accident, he added.
Local MP Simin Hossain Rimi, Additional District Magistrate Mohsin Mia, Addittional Police Super Sanjit Kumar Roy and other administrative officials visited the spot.
