The Public Service Commission yesterday recommended 41 candidates to be appointed as non-cadre class-I officer in various government offices.
Of them, 32 persons were recommended for appointing in separate offices under the Labour and Employment Ministry.
Of the 32, 25 persons were selected for appointing in the department of Inspection for Factories and Establishment, six for Department of Labour and one for Labour Court and Labour Appellate Tribunal.
The recommendation will create the way to appoint 67 class-I officer for the Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishment as per the requirement of foreign buyers to get back GSP facilities in the USA.
President Abdul Hamid on Sunday approved the amendment of recruitment rules for the department.
