Voting in 12 centres in Amtali upazila of Barguna has been suspended on Monday.
Assistant Returning Officer Md Abdullah said polling in the 12 centres has been declared suspended following allegation of occupying centres and irregularities.
Seven chairman aspirants of Awami League rebel, BNP-backed, BNP rebel and independent boycotted election in Amtali and Bamna upazila on allegation of vote rigging by the supporters of the ruling party backed chairman candidate.
Polling in four upazilas of Barguna is underway in the fifth phase of upazila election on Monday.
