A fire has broken out at the National Museum at the capital’s Shahbagh on Sunday morning.
On information, five units of fire fighters rushed to the spot and doused the blaze after over half an hour of frantic effort.
Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) Assistant Director Rafiqul Islam told the Dhaka Tribune.
The fire was originated from the fourth floor of the museum building due to shot circuit around 9:05am and the fire fighters brought the blaze under control around 9:45 am.
“No casualty has been reported in the incident. The cause of the fire could not be known yet,” he said.
