BGB’s strong start in Independence Day Kabaddi

Defending champion Border Guards Bangladesh started their title’s defence of the Independence Day Kabaddi with a hard fought 39-27 points win over Bangladesh Jails at the Laboni Point, Cox’s Bazar yesterday.

Bangladesh Police outplayed Bangladesh Air Force by 45-13 points and BGB returned to the court to register their second win of the day with a 46-19 victory over Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence in the other matches of the day.

Cox’s Bazar DC Md. Ruhul Amin was the chief guest of the inaugural ceremony. Additional Director of Walton A.F.M. Iqbal bin Anwar Dawn, Police Superintend of Cox’s Bazar Md. Azad Mia, Senior Assistant Secretary from  the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs Babul Mia were also present among others during the occasion.
