Business App Station has launched an interactive timeline application “Eti Bangladesh” on the birth of Bangladesh.
The android app encompasses documents, images, videos, and texts about the events starting from the Partition of British India in the year 1947 to the glorious Liberation War of 1971. The timeline highlights some 66 events on the gallantry, patriotism and devotion of the inhabitants for their motherland, mother language and culture.
These events will be easily viewed by selecting the date and year from the menu.
Besides, the app contain some 22 youtube video footage, including the full album of George Harrison-organised Concert for Bangladesh, historic March 7 speech and documentary on Birongonas (rape survivors during the Liberation War).
Mahmud Hasan Sony, co-founder of the business app station and also the app architect, said: “The initiative of making the app has been taken with a view to let our new generation know about the genuine history of our independence.
It will be launched for iphone (IOS Platform) soon,” he added.
