Sonali Bank has filed three fresh cases against Hall-Mark Chairman Jasmin and Managing Director Tanvir Mahmud for loan defaulting on Thursday, two-day after the accused were sued in six other cases.
Executive Officer Md Abdus Salam filed the case with Dhaka’s first money-loan court on behalf of Sonali Bank in the afternoon.
Abdus Salam said: “Sonali Bank will file a total of 21 cases against the MD and Chairman of Hall-Mark as they had defaulted approximately Tk62 crore loans.”
Earlier on March 25, Jasmine and Tanvir were sued in six other cases as being the authorities of Hall-Mark Style Limited, Hall-Mark Packaging Limited, Hall-Mark Accessories Limited, Hall-Mark Denim Composite Limited, Hall-Mark Knitting and dyeing Limited and Zisan Composite Limited.
