Three teenagers have been killed as a bus ran over a motorbike on at Asimtola area of near Tangail on Dhaka-Tangail highway on Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Rokon, 15, Sohel, 15 and Selim, 18. They were class-x student of Kuni High school of Mirzapur upazilla.
Gorai Highway police station Officer-in-Charge Jubaidul Alam said: “A recklessly-driven Dhaka bound bus ran the motorbike over around 4.30pm while the biker was trying to overtake the bus, leaving three teenagers injured critically.”
Later, the injured were rushed to KumudiniMirzapur KumudiniHospital where on duty doctor declared them dead.
The bus fled the scene and no case was filed in this connection till filing the report.
