A fire has broken out at a 6-storeied high-rise building in the capital’s Panthapath area on Monday night.
No casualty or the damage was reported till filing of this report at 10pm.
Seven units of the fire service and civil defense led by Mamun Mahmud, deputy assistant director of fire service and civil defense, doused the fire.
The fire originated around 7:45pm at the third floor of Barek mansion, situated at the opposite of the Bashundhara City shopping mall.
However, the reason behind fire could not be ascertained yet, Nilufar Yasmin, mobilizing officer of fire service and civil defense told the Dhaka Tribune.
