Police have recovered two bodies from different parts of Jamalpur district on Friday morning.
The deceased were identified as Monowar Hossain, 30, an auto rickshaw driver and Shahid, 37, of Tangail upazila.
Monowar’s body was recovered from Melandaha upazila, while Shahid’s was recovered from Santia Matikhola village.
Narayanpur Investigation Centre In-Charge Mohabbat Kabir said: “Of the two, police recovered Shahid’s body from a paddy field. He had come to Santia Matikhola village to search for his wife who has been missing for quite some time.”
He said: “The bodies have been sent to Jamalpur Sadar Hospital morgue for post mortem examination.”
