Two committees have been formed to develop traffic management and identify unfit cars on Sunday afternoon.
Communications Minister Obaidul Quader made the disclosure after a meeting with Bangladesh Road Transport Advisory Council (BRTAC) at the ministry.
The committees have been asked to submit the reports along with recommendations within 10 days.
On the basis of the report, the government will take action after March 26.
Secretary of local government division has been made the convenor for the committee to develop traffic management and the committee for identifying unfit cars is led by BRTC chairman.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will launch 60 new taxi cabs to ply in Dhaka city on April 14, the minister informed.
