Bangladesh will start search operation in the Bay of Bengal from Saturday for the missing Malaysian plane.
Mahbubul Hoque Shakil, special assistant to Prime Minister Shaikh Hasina, told the Dhaka Tribune that the prime minister has directed to begin the search operation.
“Two frigates and two patrol aircrafts will run search operation in the Bay of Bengal,” he said.
Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 disappeared on last Saturday (March 8) with 239 people on board.
The disappearance of the Malaysian airliner remains a “mystery” as there is still no trace of its wreckage.
