The social network is buzzing with criticism of the concert ahead of Twenty20 World Cup, what is being taunted as a concert of Indian performers.
Several people have slammed the high ticket prices, abundant Hindi-song performances and the sidelining of local band Miles on Facebook.
“Do we have inadequate quality singers in Bangladesh,” one profile bearing the name Reaz Uddin Asif said. “Does this concert reflect Bangladesh’s culture?”
“I felt like I am watching Bollywood Award programme at Dhaka stadium,” profile Shoheb H Khan posted.
Several people alleged that local band Miles was prevented from their scheduled performance at the programme. They blamed the organisers for the ignorance.
“LRB played 40 minutes instead of 20 minutes!” profile Shoheb H Khan posted. “Shame on event organiser Grey and shame on Ayub Bacchu.”
The concert was arranged by the Bangladesh Cricket Board ahead of the Twenty20 World Cup in Bangladesh.
