At least four people were killed and 11 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a human hauler at Mostafapur area under Madaripur sadar upazila on Wednesday night.
The deceased were identified as human hauler driver Shipon Hawladar, 24, son of Mojubur Master of Gazirchar village, Shefali Begum, 23, of Shashikar village, Champa Akhtar, 22, of Kauakuli village and Happy Akhtar, 5, reports UNB.
Madaripur Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge Mofazzal Hossain said: “A Dhaka-bound bus of Sakura Paribahan collided head-on with a human hauler at Mostafapur area around 11:30pm, killing four on the spot and injuring the others.”
He said the injured were admitted to Madaripur Sadar Hospital and Faridpur Medical College Hospital.
