Two motorcyclists have been killed as a train hit their motorbike in Nasratpur rail crossing area of Shayestaganj on Wednesday evening.
The deceased were identified as Shafique Mia, 35, and Dulal Mia, 28.
Shahidul Islam, station master of Shayestaganj railway station, confirmed the Dhaka Tribune about the deaths.
Witnesses said a Dhaka-bound train from Sylhet collided with the motorbike in Nasratpur rail crossing around 7pm as there was no rail crossing bar, leaving the motorcyclists seriously injured.
The injured were rushed to Habiganj sadar hospital where duty doctor declared them dead.
