Recruitment tests for assistant teacher posts in pre-primary sections of government primary schools will be held on March 28 at 10 am, according to a press release of primary and mass education ministry issued yesterday.
The examination was scheduled to be held on March 14 but was rescheduled because of upazila elections.
The release said new admit cards would not be issued for the examination as the previous cards would remain effective.
Earlier, the tests were cancelled in 17 districts as question papers were leaked. The districts were Dhaka, Rajbari, Mymensingh, Netrakona, Sherpur, Narayanganj, Cox’s Bazar, Rajshahi, Pabna, Lalmonirhat, Khulna, Satkhira, Jhenaidah, Meherpur, Sunamganj, Habiganj and Moulvibazar.
The written tests for recruiting assistant teachers were held in November last year with 968,127 candidates taking part in it. The authorities later cancelled the test results in the districts, following a probe report submitted by an inquiry committee formed to investigate the alleged leak of question papers.
