The recruitment tests for the posts of assistant teacher in the preprimary sections of government primary schools, which were cancelled due to question paper leaks in 17 districts, will be held on March 28.
The districts are: Dhaka, Mymensingh, Netrakona, Sherpur, Rajshahi, Cox’s Bazar, Lalmonirhat, Narayanganj, Pabna, Satkhira, Jhenidah, Rajbari, Meherpur, Khulna, Sunamganj, Habiganj and Moulvibazar.
New admit cards will not be issued for the examination. Previous admit cards will remain effective, a press release of the Primary and Mass Education Ministry said on Monday.
The written tests for recruiting assistant teachers was held on November 8 last year with 9,68,127 candidates taking part in it.
Later, on December 8, authorities cancelled the results of tests in the districts, following a probe report submitted by an inquiry committee formed to investigate the alleged leak of question papers.
