Another victim of the Jamuna oil tanker fire has succumbed to his injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital in the capital.
The deceased is Nazim Uddin.
DMCH Burn Unit Residential Sergeant Surgeon Partha Shankar Paul confirmed about the death to the Dhaka Tribune.
He said: “Nazim succumbed to his injuries around 7am on Monday morning.”
The body has been taken to Chittagong, he said.
On February 28, nine people sustained burn injuries as an empty tanker of Jamuna oil depot went up in flames on Friday at Patenga area of Chittagong.
Of the injured, seven were transferred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where Shamsul Alam, 50, died on March 5.
