Shayan Chowdhury Arnob, one of the biggest names in the music industry of recent times, is working in Tollywood. He has signed as the music director for Mainak Bhaumik’s new film Kolkata Calling.
It is a fusion film where Tollywood’s star Parambrata Chatterjee will be seen in the lead role. Director Mainak Bhaumik said: “I love Arnob’s unique style of singing and composition. I know him from his school days and I am a big fan of his works. I believe he will communicate with my thoughts and interpret them accordingly.”
There will be five to six songs in the film including a Rabindra Sangeet titled Megh Bolechhe Jabo Jabo.
Aside from giving music direction in Kolkata Calling, Arnob will be lending his voice in two more Tollywood movies Parambrata Chatterjee’s Lorai and Kaushik Ganguly’s Khad.
