Communications Minister Obaidul Quader has ordered to close a BRTC official for enjoying leave without proper procedures in Chittagong.
The minister visited the BRTC bus depot in the port city on Saturday and found the depot’s operation manager on leave without permission.
Minister Obaidul cited it a negligence to perform duty and closed the position of operation manager Mohammad Kamruzzaman on the spot.
The order, Minister Obaidul Quader said, was to be effective immediately.
