Celebrated actor Mahfuz Ahmed and Mili paired up for an upcoming drama serial based on late legendary author Humayun Ahmed’s novel Ekjon Mayaboti.
The novel was published in 2002 from Anyaprokash Publications Limited and the head of the publication, Mazharul Islam is all set to direct the 52-episode serial.
Mazharul believes if Humayun Ahmed was alive today, he would love the script written by Arun chowdhury. He also informed that the series will be aired on Channel i soon. Mahfuz Ahmed will be seen as Monjur and Mili as Jahnara who are the lead roles of the series.
Mahfuz shares: “Just because it’s Humayun Ahmed sir’s story and Mazharul Islam is giving the direction, I left all my agendas.” Mahfuz, who is currently directing a mega serial Mago Tomar Jonyo, further added: “May be it will be the only drama series where I will be acting this year.”
Mili shares: “This is the first time I’m working in a Humayun Ahmed story. I will try to give my best effort since the audience will have a big a expectation from the production and I don’t want to leave any stone unturned to do my best.”
